Glossary of terms related or pertaining to that of Dental Implants. For instance, an "Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon" is a specialist surgeon thats treat the anatomy of the mouth, jaws, face, skull, as well as associated structures. They are specifically trained in the specific areas of extractions (e.g. simple, surgical and complex), dental implantation (and removal when indicated), and other implant-related surgical techniques (e.g. bone grafts, sinus augmentations, guided tissue regeneration), as well as the administration of non-IV and IV sedation.
