I find that I have a few crowns that keep falling out and just wondered if I could get dental implants. I live in scotland if that makes a difference. Are they expensive?

A crown is a shell that covers the crown of your tooth; a tooth must be there to have a crown. A bridge could be used in place of a missing tooth; it is either resin-bonded or crowns are placed on the adjacent teeth that connect to it. An implant is placed where there is no teeth, but there must be enough bone to support the implant. Implants are very expensive (multiple times what it costs for a crown or bridge).
