Undecided Question: Is it safe to remove dental implants before they have integrated with the bone?
You may want to talk to your maxillofacial surgeon and dentist. There should be no long-lasting effects on your jaw-line/jaw bone since it will heal over time. Plenty of people each year get their dental implants removed simply because they do not want to deal with costs of keeping them up-to-date. It should be fine.If your implants were already integrated into the jaw bone, it may be a bit of a problem but seeing as how the bone has not fused to them yet, it should be relatively safe. The only risk I can think of is "dry socket" in which you would get an infection in the hole created; however, this should be reverted completely since the maxillofacial surgeon will have to put a bone graft into your pockets to maintain jaw leverage. =)...
